I joined Footprint in September 2023 after having known and worked with the Footprint team for many years, and I was delighted to have the opportunity to join them. Before joining, I was Executive Director in the Corporate Legal Department at Columbia Pictures, responsible for Sony’s Networks businesses across EMEA, including music rights and collecting society licensing, alongside content distribution, special projects and M&A support. Prior to that, I worked for many years as a Lawyer and then Senior Lawyer at what is now Viaplay Group (previously Viasat Broadcasting and Viasat World), specialising in content acquisition and distribution and corporate matters.

Having so many years experience working with multi-national broadcasters and video-on-demand service providers, I have a good understanding of the priorities and challenges faced by our clients, and I put this experience to good use to get the best possible music licensing solutions. 

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, ideally outdoors on a bike trail somewhere with my children or swimming in the (warm) sea.  I am passionate about books and literature, having written three novels which were published by Penguin Random House, and of which one (Red Joan, 2013) was adapted to be a film starring Dame Judi Dench (in which I also played an ‘extra’ in one of the scenes, although there were no calls for a career change following that performance).
