As COO at Footprint, I am responsible for all our UK and Irish collecting society licensing, negotiating all major PRS, PPL and IMRO broadcast and streaming licences for our UK clients and our multi-territory, international clients who have a foothold in the UK and Ireland.
I joined Footprint in 2011 as a law graduate from the University of Sussex and have worked my way up within the company, becoming a director in 2022, and proudly becoming joint owner with Zoe Jones, following a management buy-out in the same year.
With nearly 15 years of music licensing experience, I have become an expert on the UK market, specifically with regard to PRS and PPL country-of-origin broadcast licensing. On top of this, I have many years’ experience of negotiating broadcast and streaming music licences in the Netherlands, Sweden and a variety of other countries, including Australia and New Zealand.
What I love about my job is that each negotiation is completely unique and every day is different, and I feel lucky to be able to work with some of our longest-standing clients and to negotiate some of our largest deals.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family. My favourite place to be is on a walk by the seaside and looking forward to my next escape to sunnier climes!
